RETURN & REFUND POLICY

We stand behind our products. If you're not completely satisfied, we offer a hassle free return and refund process within 30 days of purchase.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. The return window is measured from your order confirmation date, not the delivery date. To qualify for a return, the item must be unused and in original condition. It must be in original packaging with all tags attached if applicable. The item must be free from wear, damage, or alterations. The item must not be personalized or custom made.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return. Clearance or final sale items marked as such at purchase cannot be returned. Custom or personalized products are not returnable. Digital products or downloadable content are not returnable. Items that have been worn, used, or damaged by the customer cannot be returned. Items without original packaging or tags are not returnable. Intimate apparel or hygiene products are not returnable unless defective. Items returned after the 30 day window are not returnable. Items without receipt or proof of purchase are not returnable.
How to Initiate a Return
Follow these simple steps to start your return. First, contact us by emailing founder@thecoldforge.com with your order number and reason for return. We will review your request and respond within 24 hours with return authorization. We will email you a prepaid return shipping label that is FREE. Package your item securely and drop it off at any carrier location. Use the tracking number provided to monitor your return shipment. Do not ship items back without receiving a return authorization first, as unauthorized returns may not be processed.
Free Return Shipping
We provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Simply print the label and drop off your package at any carrier location. If you choose to use your own shipping method instead of our prepaid label, you are responsible for shipping costs. Return costs will be deducted from your refund if you do not use our label.
Return Shipping Address
Your prepaid return label will have the correct return address. Do not return items to any other address without explicit authorization from our returns team.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will verify that the item meets return conditions. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5 to 7 business days. You will receive a refund confirmation email. The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account. Please check with your financial institution if you do not see the refund within 10 days of our processing date.
Refund Amounts
Your refund will include the full product price, applicable sales tax, and original shipping cost if standard or free shipping was used. Express or expedited shipping costs are non refundable. Return costs will be deducted if you do not use our prepaid return label. Any damage caused by the customer will result in a deduction for repairs or replacement.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, do not return it immediately. Contact us first with photos of the damage. Email founder@thecoldforge.com with your order number and clear photos showing the defect. We will assess the damage and provide instructions. We may issue a full refund, send a replacement, or arrange a partial credit depending on the severity. No return shipping label is needed for defective items. We will cover all costs and provide a prepaid shipping label if needed. Defective items are eligible for full refund even outside the 30 day return window.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct product exchanges. However, you can return your item for a refund and then place a new order for the desired product. You can also contact our support team for special accommodation if there is a valid reason for exchange.
Store Credit Alternative
If you prefer not to wait for a refund, we offer store credit as an alternative. You will receive 110 percent store credit, which is a 10 percent bonus, instead of a refund. Use your credit toward any future purchase. Store credit does not expire. To request store credit instead of a refund, simply mention this preference when initiating your return.
Partial Returns
If your order contains multiple items and you only wish to return some of them, you can return any combination of items. Your refund will be calculated based on the items you return. Shipping charges are not refunded for partial returns.
Final Sale and Clearance Items
Items marked as Final Sale or Clearance are not eligible for return or refund. These are clearly labeled at the time of purchase.
Sale or Promotional Items
If you purchased an item on sale or with a promotional discount, your refund will be based on the sale price you paid, not the regular price.
Return Authorization and Tracking
Each return is assigned an authorization number, which is an RA number. Please include this number on your return shipment and reference it in all communications about your return. Use the tracking number provided with your prepaid label to monitor your return shipment.
Returned Items Not Received
If you ship a return using our prepaid label and we do not receive it, we will investigate with the carrier. If the package is lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to file a claim. You are responsible for tracking your return shipment. Keep your tracking number until the return is confirmed as received.
Return Inspection Process
When we receive your return, we will log the return into our system. We will verify that the item meets return conditions. We will inspect for damage or signs of use. We will process your refund if everything looks good. If your return does not meet our conditions, we will contact you within 5 business days to explain and discuss options.
Refund Denial
We may deny a refund if the item shows signs of wear, damage, or use beyond normal inspection, the return is outside the 30 day window except for defective items, the item is missing original packaging or tags, the item was damaged by the customer, or no valid proof of purchase is provided. If your return is denied, we will contact you with a detailed explanation. You may dispute this decision by providing additional information.
International Returns
For customers outside the continental United States, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective. International returns may take longer to process. Customs fees are not refundable. Please contact us for special return instructions for your location.
Special Circumstances
We understand that special situations sometimes require flexibility. If you have circumstances that fall outside our standard policy, such as health issues or gift returns, please contact us. We will do our best to work with you.
Warranty and Product Quality
All our products include a one year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, broken components or seams, material degradation under normal use, and functional failures. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, neglect, or accidents, modifications or repairs made by others, or cosmetic damage that does not affect function. To file a warranty claim, contact us with photos and a description of the issue.
